Progressive Rock is cultural goods ! Timeless and over and over exciting. It’s inspiring to compose complex structures. It’s interesting to experiment with changing rhythms and time signatures. It’s beautiful to fuse classical music, jazz, ethnic music with rock. It’s fascinating to create diverse sounds. It’s challenging to play progressive music. And it’s phantastic to record all this and wrap it in a master plan.

The Progressive Rock Project is a solo project of Michael Altenberger who made to his business to continue the tradition of progressive rock music and to realize it in 100% original compositions.

At the same time value is set on manually produced music , i.e. all instruments are recorded live and no synthetic drums or programmed sequences are used.
